Nurse Leader’s Role in Awareness, Prevention and Mitigation: Addressing Workplace Violence in Healthcare

Session Description: This presentation will empower the nurse leader with knowledge and skills to implement professional communication skills in multiple facets of their professional and personal duties related to escalating situations. 
The Joint Commission’s Sentinel Event 45 will also be discussed and how nurse leaders can ensure their business unit is following the guidelines put in place to mitigate workplace violence.
